Dave Van Ronk was one of Bob Dylan's biggest influences, and even has a street named after him in Greenwich Village. He couldn't drive, and didn't like to fly, and wouldn't touch a computer, but he loved science fiction. Before he died in 2002, he had almost completed an autobiography which looks incredibly entertaining (I've just added it to my Amazon wishlist).This is yet another cover of Furry Lewis' take on Stag, with the "when you lose your money" moral.

San Fran and Santa Rosa for a bit over a week. Tres nice, i must say.

Cool. I love San Francisco. My friend The Chromium Swan lives there, and I've made two visits. (Still haven't ridden on a cable car or been to Alcatraz -- I'm a weird tourist.)
