Howdy all. I'll be back to posting all-new stuff tomorrow morning. But first, here's a holiday megapost, with all the spooky stuff I've posted so far on this li'l bloggity, and a little bonus.
There are nineteen versions of Screamin' Jay Hawkins' voodoo classic "I Put a Spell on You" collected here.
There are seven versions of "Grim Grinning Ghosts," the theme song from Disneyland's The Haunted Mansion collected in this zip file. Plus here's one more brand-new (to this blog) version. It's still got our patron saint, Thurl Ravenscroft (seen in this picture, sort of) and the other Mellomen, but it's the lovely additionally-orchestrated version from Disneyland Paris's Phantom Manor.

Disneyland Paris has gone to hell in a handbasket ever since they changed the name from EuroDisney.
i'm just saying.
What I'm about to say is going to sound very very silly, but if I ever go to Paris I'm going to have to spend a day at that park. The idea of one united story behind Frontierland (Big Thunder Mountain and Haunted Mansion) is cool as all hell, and the descriptions of the revisions they made to the Pirates ride make it sound like the best of the bunch.
