To round out a month of double Stag posts, here are two versions by early gods of rock and roll. Dion and Jerry Lee Lewis both exuded the rock and roll attitude early, about as early as anyone did. And they both really power through this song.Dion (free of The Belmonts here) barks like a dog, and changes lyrics like crazy. ("It was the end!") Jerry Lee can't remember Lloyd Price's name, but he pounds the song out all the same, with classic "Killer" boogie-woogie piano.
